Product Overview
The polyester biaxial geogrid is warp-knitted from high-tenacity multifilament polyester yarn and coated with PVC or a modified polymer for UV and alkali resistance. Because the same tensile strength is provided in both warp and weft directions, the polyester biaxial geogrid confines granular layers in two directions and raises the bearing capacity of the base course.
With tensile grades from 30 kN/m to 1200 kN/m, the polyester biaxial geogrid covers light landscape reinforcement up to heavy haul road and airport apron construction. Standard roll width is 1 - 6 m and roll length 50 - 200 m, so the polyester biaxial geogrid can be laid with few joints on large sites.
