The HDPE Fish Cage Bracket is the injection-moulded connection between the floating pipe frame and the standing pipe of an HDPE floating fish cage. Unlike steel brackets that corrode in seawater, the HDPE Fish Cage Bracket is injection-moulded from PE100 HDPE for 15+ year service life with zero maintenance, keeping the standing pipes of the fish farming cage rigid against wave loading.

Two standard types are produced: the Single Bracket for standard 250 mm floating pipe and 110 mm standing pipe, and the Double Bracket for reinforced 400 mm floating pipe and 125 mm standing pipe on large 30-40 m cages. Brackets are pre-drilled for pin fasteners on both axes, allowing quick on-site assembly without welding - a single crew can outfit a complete fish cage frame with hand tools alone.

Note: Bracket quantity varies with cage diameter and standing pipe count. Larger diameters and reinforced fish cage configurations use proportionally more brackets - quantities for custom sizes are calculated at project design stage.

Production

Raw Material

Every HDPE Fish Cage Bracket is moulded from virgin PE100 HDPE injection compound with carbon black. The material is tested for melt flow rate and tensile strength before moulding, so each production batch keeps the same stiffness and impact resistance in seawater service.

Molding Process

Brackets are injection-moulded in family moulds for both Single and Double types. After cooling, pin holes are CNC-drilled to precise tolerance so the pin fit stays consistent across production runs - important when a fish farm orders replacement brackets years after the original cage was built.

Quality Control

Each bracket is dimension-checked against drawings, pin hole tolerance is verified, and PE100 material certification is provided per shipment. Moulding records are kept for traceability, so every bracket can be traced back to its material lot and production batch.
