Product Overview
The HDPE Compression Coupling is a push-fit fitting designed for HDPE/PP water supply and irrigation systems. This HDPE Compression Coupling uses stainless steel claws and EPDM seal ring, providing reliable mechanical connection without fusion equipment.
Contractors and installers rely on the HDPE Compression Coupling for quick field installation in residential, agricultural, and industrial water systems. The PP body is corrosion-resistant and hygienic, suitable for potable water. The reusable design allows disassembly for maintenance.

Production
Raw Material
The HDPE Compression Coupling body is injection-molded from PPR (polypropylene random copolymer) for high stiffness, creep resistance, and long-term service temperature up to 70°C. The seal ring is EPDM rubber for potable water compliance. The gripping claws are 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and clamping force retention.
Molding Process
The PP body is produced by precision injection molding with controlled temperature, pressure, and cooling rate to ensure dimensional stability of the gripping surface and seal-ring groove concentricity. Wall-thickness uniformity is monitored to guarantee pressure rating. The stainless steel claw is stamped and heat-treated to maintain spring force over repeated installation cycles.
Quality Control
Every HDPE Compression Coupling undergoes 100% pneumatic leak test at 1.5x rated pressure, sampling hydrostatic strength test at 2x rated pressure for 1 hour, and dimensional inspection of gripping surface, seal-ring groove concentricity, and wall thickness uniformity. Batch records are retained for 3 years traceability.
