Product Overview

The HDPE Custom Mud Tee is a heavy-wall, one-piece machined tee fitting designed for mud, slurry and high-pressure pipeline service. Unlike injection-molded tees, every HDPE Custom Mud Tee from Bingo Pipeline is CNC lathe machined from a solid PE100 HDPE rod or thick-wall pipe blank, so the body carries no weld line and can safely reach pressure classes that molded fittings cannot achieve.

The enlarged barrel body gives the mud tee a larger flow chamber than a standard equal tee, which is why this fitting is widely used on dredging discharge lines, mining slurry systems and other services where media carries sand, silt or solids. The HDPE Custom Mud Tee is produced to order in three pressure series - SDR6 / PN32, SDR7.4 / PN25 and SDR11 / PN16 - covering main line diameters from 225 mm up to 900 mm with branch outlets from 63 mm to 400 mm.

Production

Raw Material

Every HDPE Custom Mud Tee starts from a new PE100 solid HDPE rod or thick-wall HDPE pipe blank. Using virgin PE100 stock - instead of regrind - keeps the mechanical strength and slow crack growth resistance of the finished fitting consistent with the connected pipe.

Molding Process

The blank is machined on a CNC lathe according to the approved drawing: the enlarged barrel, the branch outlet and the fusion faces are all turned from one piece. This CNC lathe machining technology, derived from the United States, produces precise dimensions without moulds and gives the HDPE Custom Mud Tee a one-piece high-pressure body that molded fittings cannot match.

Quality Control

Each fitting is checked for outside diameter, wall thickness, branch position and overall length against the drawing before dispatch. Dimensional and pressure performance follow ISO 4427 requirements, and machining records are kept for traceability.

Applications
