Product Overview
The HDPE Custom End Cap is a one-piece machined pipe cap used to close the end of HDPE pipelines in water supply, dredging, mining and industrial service. Instead of injection moulding, every HDPE Custom End Cap from Bingo Pipeline is CNC lathe machined from a solid PE100 HDPE rod, so the cap body has no weld line and can be produced in pressure classes from PN10 up to PN32 - including heavy-wall ratings that moulded caps cannot reach.
Because the cap is machined rather than moulded, the HDPE Custom End Cap is not limited by mould sizes: the standard range covers d90 mm to d1200 mm, and special diameters, wall thicknesses and lengths are machined to order directly from our solid rod stock of 78-553 mm outside diameter. This makes the fitting a practical choice both for permanent line termination and for temporary closures during hydrostatic pressure testing.
