Product Overview

The HDPE Custom Flange Adapter is a one-piece flanged pipe end - also known as a Stub End - used to bolt HDPE pipe to valves, pumps, steel flanges and other equipment. Unlike injection-moulded flange adapters, every HDPE Custom Flange Adapter from Bingo Pipeline is CNC lathe machined from a solid PE100 HDPE rod or thick-wall pipe blank, so the body carries no weld line and can reach pressure classes that moulded fittings cannot achieve.

Because the fitting is machined rather than moulded, the HDPE Custom Flange Adapter is not restricted by mould sizes: the standard butt-fusion range covers DN63 mm up to DN1200 mm, and heavy-wall rated flange adapters up to PN25 are machined to order for high pressure water, fire and industrial service. The flanged end is matched with a steel backing ring and a rubber gasket to form a complete bolted joint.

Production

Raw Material

Every HDPE Custom Flange Adapter starts from a new PE100 solid HDPE rod or thick-wall HDPE pipe blank. Using virgin PE100 stock - instead of regrind - keeps the mechanical strength and slow crack growth resistance of the finished fitting consistent with the connected pipe.

Molding Process

The blank is machined on a CNC lathe according to the approved drawing: the sealing face, the flange root and the fusion face are all turned from one piece. This CNC lathe machining technology, derived from the United States, produces accurate dimensions without moulds and gives the HDPE Custom Flange Adapter a one-piece high-pressure body that moulded fittings cannot match.

Quality Control

Each flange adapter is checked for outside diameter, wall thickness, flange diameter and overall length against the drawing before dispatch. Dimensional and pressure performance follow ISO 4427 requirements, and machining records are kept for traceability.

Applications

Pump and valve connections: The HDPE Custom Flange Adapter bolts HDPE pipe to pumps, valves and equipment with flanged inlets.
Steel-to-HDPE transition: Used where an HDPE line has to connect to a steel pipe or steel flange in water and gas networks.
High-pressure water supply: PN20 and PN25 series serve water transmission mains where moulded flange adapters cannot reach the required pressure class.
