Product Overview

DN 20–110mm, PN 12.5/16, red/orange color. Thick-wall high-impact UPVC for high-pressure pump outlets and demanding irrigation systems.

Thicker-walled than the standard series and extruded from UV-stabilized high-impact UPVC, this heavy-duty PVC pipe is built for pump discharge lines and high-head sprinkler mains where pressure surges, rough site handling and exposed outdoor runs rule out ordinary PN10 pipe.

Key Features

  • Heavy-Duty Wall Thickness: Enhanced wall design on every heavy-duty PVC pipe safely handles higher operating pressures up to PN 16, making it ideal for high-head pump stations.
  • Instant Visual Identification: Bright red/orange color on this PVC pressure pipe allows field crews to instantly distinguish high-pressure lines from standard pipelines, reducing the risk of misconnection.
  • Superior Impact Resistance: Specialized UPVC formulation in every heavy-duty PVC pipe withstands rough handling during transport, backfilling, and operation without cracking.
  • UV Stabilized: Every PVC pressure pipe is formulated with UV stabilizers to maintain mechanical properties during outdoor storage and installation.
  • Surge Safety Margin: The S-series heavy wall on this heavy-duty PVC pipe absorbs pump start-up and valve-closure water hammer better than thin-wall PN10 pipe, protecting unmanned pump stations.

Production

Manufacturing Process

The heavy-duty PVC pipe is manufactured on high-torque extruders with closed-loop wall thickness control. Each production batch undergoes hydrostatic pressure testing at 1.5× rated pressure to guarantee PN 16 performance.

Quality Control & Testing

Beyond the standard 1.5× hydrostatic burst test, lots of PVC pressure pipe undergo UV-aging exposure checks to verify stabilization, falling-weight impact testing at low temperature, and 100% wall-thickness scanning to confirm the heavy S-series profile across every length.

Raw Material

High-impact, UV-stabilized virgin UPVC compound with no regrind is used for every heavy-duty PVC pipe: it retains toughness after sun exposure on above-ground risers and pump-house manifolds, and carries the same 50-year rated-pressure design life as the standard series.

Applications

  • High-pressure discharge lines from water pumps - the first 10-50 meters off the impeller where surge and vibration are highest, color-marked red heavy-duty PVC pipe so operators never tie in a standard PN10 branch.
  • Pressurized sprinkler and misting system mains - exposed orange PVC pressure pipe laterals across fields and greenhouse roofs that stay tough after seasons of UV exposure and relocation.
  • Industrial water supply with enhanced safety margins - PN16 heavy-duty PVC pipe feed lines to boilers, chillers and process equipment where an extra pressure margin is specified by the engineer.
  • Rising mains and force mains in pressure sewer systems - thick-walled PVC pressure pipe handling repeated pump cycling without fatigue in buried municipal installations.
