Product Overview
The UPVC Ball Check Valve is an automatic non-return valve designed for industrial fluid systems where backflow prevention is critical. Engineered from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC), this ball check valve uses a free-floating ball that lifts off its seat under forward flow and re-seats under reverse pressure, providing reliable operation without external actuators or power supply. The UPVC ball check valve is widely specified in water treatment, chemical processing, electroplating, and marine applications where corrosion resistance and zero-leakage sealing are mandatory. With a diameter range from DN15 to DN150 and pressure ratings up to PN16, the UPVC ball check valve handles a broad spectrum of process media including demineralized water, mild acids, alkalis, and salt solutions. The valve body and ball are precision-molded from high-grade UPVC compound, ensuring consistent dimensions and smooth inner surfaces that minimize pressure drop. The UPVC ball check valve complies with ISO 1452-3 and ASTM D2467, meeting international standards for thermoplastic valves used in industrial pipelines.

Production
Raw Material
The UPVC ball check valve is molded from virgin unplasticized polyvinyl chloride compound that meets ISO 1452-3 requirements. The ball seal is made from EPDM rubber, selected for its resilience, chemical resistance, and long cycle life in industrial service.
Molding Process
Body and ball components are produced by precision injection molding on CNC-controlled machines, with mold temperatures and cycle times optimized to eliminate sink marks and ensure dimensional stability. Socket ends are gauged to ISO 1452-3 tolerances for consistent pipe-to-valve fitment.
Quality Control
Every UPVC ball check valve undergoes hydraulic seat tightness testing at 1.5 times rated pressure, ball free-travel verification, and visual inspection for surface defects. Batch records trace material lot, mold cavity, and test results for full traceability.
Applications
Water Treatment Plants
The UPVC ball check valve is installed on filter inlets, dosing pump discharge lines, and backwash headers to prevent reverse flow that could damage upstream equipment or contaminate chemical feed systems.
Electroplating Lines
In plating shops, the UPVC ball check valve protects process tanks from cross-contamination by stopping backflow of acidic or alkaline solutions, with full compatibility against chrome, nickel, and copper electrolytes.
Chemical Processing
The ball check valve is used in chemical transfer lines handling dilute acids, caustics, and brines, where its UPVC construction prevents corrosion that would compromise metal valves within weeks.
Marine and Aquaculture
Seawater intake and recirculation systems in aquaculture facilities rely on the UPVC ball check valve to prevent drain-back during pump cycles, protecting pumps and maintaining siphon priming.
Industrial Water Supply
Pressurized industrial water networks specify the UPVC ball check valve on pump discharges to prevent water hammer damage when pumps stop, ensuring long service life in PN16 distribution systems.
